With Keller Minimal Windows®, a light but sturdy aluminum frame is complemented by a cladding of the customer’s choice made from aluminum sheet.
Once again, an outstanding investor and architect. The challenges: sliding glass panels with dimensions of 350×300 cm. The frames are embedded into the floors and walls. Two panels, each weighing 800 kg, glide to one side, driven by a linear actuator (motor), while the third panel is manually operated in the opposite direction. In total, 10.5 meters of sliding tracks. The movement is quiet, manual, and effortless.
Another noteworthy feature: shutters with an arabesque fabric design, measuring 150×300 cm, need to be smoothly moved around a corner and parked in a “wardrobe,” with panels being returned into use as needed. The third element is also interesting, though seemingly less attractive at first glance: a glass wall measuring 350×300 cm, with one fixed panel and balcony doors, covered by an all-in-one sun, privacy, and insect protection system that is concealed within the floor, ceiling, and walls. Solved!
A precisely crafted, discreet aluminum skeleton allows the panels to slide and pivot around the “corner,” enabling the sliding panel to move seamlessly to the sides of the terrace.
Keller Minimal Windows® installed at floor level allow for a seamless blending of interior and exterior spaces. Sun protection is provided by special aluminum mesh blinds, which accommodate large spans and, when lowered in front of open panels, can also serve as insect screens.
